product and category index.asp

I'm in the process of adding sitemaps to the Google Webmaster Tools. I go to grab the product and category index URLs and they're .asp Google doesn't like this though and reads it as a .html file. There's nothing I can find that will help me with this. Any of you gurus have a clue of what I can do? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
