Vertical Response Email Marketing

Anyone use these guys? We've been thinking about giving them a try for our newsletter. Their pricing structure seems to be more flexible than Constant Contact or Mail Chimp. Our mailing list is fairly small (under 25K) and we'd be sending email quarterly.

Any opinions (or alternate suggestions) are welcome.

I have not heard of them, but I have nothing but good things to see about Mail Chimp. I switched from Constant Contact and MC's system is night-and-day better and more flexible.

In switching over to 3DCart, thinking about moving to MailChimp as well - currently using Constant Contact, but with the built-in integration, I see an advantage there. But I'm wondering if the added bells-and-whistles in MailChimp are really worth the price rather than doing the newsletters in-house in 3DCart - I'm only doing a couple of emails a month and email list is about 5000 users. Just looking for some justification for the $75/month charge for MC.

Birdsafe - you could start by keeping it in-house for now so you can save that $75, but you probably want to use 3dcart's integration with Mandrill - which is an awesomely reliable email delivery platform. It's free for up to 12K sends per month. Trust me, it's badass:
