credentials pass to 3dcart

Does anyone know how to transfer credentials from one website into 3dcart utilizing the built in "enable Password Requirement for Site Access"? I would like my customers to log into our main website with thier current credentials, and when they want to purchase products, it seemlessly redirects them to my 3d cart site with thier login credentials passing through without a second log in step?

Any insight would greatly be appreciated.

I was actually thinking of asking the same thing.
This will help customers to save time for themselves when purchasing products... but I don't know anyone who have already done it on their eCommerce sites, if so I hope someone could share their experience and also give some tips and tricks on how it should be applied http://imagicon.info/cat/5-6/vbulletin-redface.gif
