blank screen after transaction is complete

    I had a customer email me because after she completed checkout with paypal, not paypal pro, she just received a blank screen, no thank you message or anything. Am I missing something? What do I need to do to resolve this? Has anyone else noticed this?

    To fix this problem, log into paypal, click profile, then website payment preferences.

    Once on this page, make sure auto return is clicked to yes.

    Now you need to make sure you have an extra page in your admin set up with the following content:

    Per the Paypal user agreement, you must provide verbiage on the page displayed by the Return URL that will help the buyer understand that the payment has been made and that the transaction has been completed.
    You must provide verbiage on the page displayed by the Return URL that explains that payment transaction details will be emailed to the buyer.
    Example: Thank you for your payment. Your transaction has been completed, and a receipt for your purchase has been emailed to you. You may log into your account at to view details of this transaction.

    Then find out what the link is for your extra page:


    place it in the space provided on the website payment preferences page, and then you should be good to go, you may want to test it out first!

    PS - I think your site is very nice if i was at the right place,, I definitly got a few ideas from it. Don't worry, I'm dvd's not candles & soap etc.!haha

      Paypal return URL?

      Is there a set URL for each website that is the return URL? I assume there must be - but haven't been able to test this because I can't log into my email and pay myself. Does anyone know the 3dCart URL where you are returned after payment with paypal?
      Like - what comes next?
