membership group?

Here's what I'm thinking:

Customer's can purchase an annual Membership that gets them 10% off all orders until membership expires, with the option to renew at the end of that year.

Is there a way to do this currently other than manually moving customers to a Membership group, and then checking each year for which ones are expiring?

Could make for a nice feature in the future if not!

Each time a membership purchase is made, you could give them their own coupon number and set the expiration for whenever you like. You would probably want to give the coupon a certain pattern so that you always recognize and keep track of them.

On the topic of coupons, does anyone know a way to setup a "Double Reward Points" promotion (kind of like AirMiles does during slow times to boost usage)
