Eliminating countries other than United States in checkout

Hello,

We process only United States credit cards. Our payment method specifies United States ONLY however, when customers go to checkout, to enter billing address, the drop down menu for country still lists all the countries. Anyway to fix this? :confused:

I believe what you want is under Settings>>Shipping>>Shipping Countries. We have only the "United States" checked which is the only country listed under country on the checkout page. (we're using ver 3.0 - single page checkout).

Yes, we have that shipping countires set.
it's the "billing" countries that is not working as we thought it should.
The credit card payment method only appears for United States, however, they can choose other counties for billing, and, that just makes the payment method disappear.

I know this is an old post and I'm not sure if you've already found a solution or not, but we're using the following workaround for this problem.

Replace this:

[CountryDropDown]

With this:

<option value="US" selected="">United States</option>

In checkout-step3.html, it will remove all countries other than the US from the Billing Information form.
