New Releases are cached?

When we have the store cache set to on for improved performance, it seems our rotating "new releases" don't seem to change. Any way to make the products rotate or cycle?

I added about 30 products a few days ago and have yet to see them in the New Release cycle.

Any way to "re-fresh"?

no. there is no way to change this.
You have to edit the database and change the "date created".
Even if you delete the field for "last update" on your product import, you have to downlaod the file, change the date to an older date and then upload.
pain. And, there is no way to clear it from the cache.

I didn't realize that when I cloned a product that it picked up the original available date. I went back and updated the avail dates and it works like a charm.
