What is New Order - Distributor email???

What is New Order - Distributor email under SETTINGS>DESIGN>EMAILS and why is it there? Can we delete it?
I thought that the New Order - Distributor email is setup under SETTINGS>GENERAL>DISTRIBUTORS

Okay, still a little confused on this one, is the email settings under the distributor unique? In other words, if you enter a email subjet line, is that what determines what email will be used on new orders?
