Email Required means Password Required?

I didn't realize it until just now... I went in to change the One page Checkout and noticed that I had "Email Required" turned on, but I did NOT have "Password Required" checked... yet, per my previous post, it was asking for one??

This may be fine, "IF" it is not "required" to complete the order, but it does sort of go against the whole idea of not requiring a password to checkout... Have the blank there, most people would "assume" that you have to put one in...

Just wondering.
