Is there a manufacturer variable/field name?

Just curious if there is a field name for the manufacturer variable.

Not sure what you're asking...

It should be "manufacturer"

Whenever I do a bulk upload of products from a manufacturer, that's the field title I use to denote the manufacturer. The upload has recognized that field name successfully every time I've used it. If this is giving you problems, you may want to check SETTINGS >> GENERAL >> MANUFACTURERS. I don't know for certain, but you may need to manually enter a manufacturer before you can upload a product with that manufacturer in the "manufacturer" field.

Actually, we were looking for a database/field name that can be called. It would be enclosed in brackets, like this: [manufacturer].
That doesn't seem to work for us. The is [manufacturer_logo] and [manufacturer_website] but none for just manufacturer. :(
