"You Might Also Like" opens new window

At the bottom of the customer's shopping cart page, the "you might also like" shows related items. If you click one of these, it opens a NEW window and the cart is empty. I know to keep the cart, you have to click continue shopping... but if they do select one of the items below the customer ends up w/ 2 windows in separate shopping carts.

I like the concept of the upsell, but it makes it confusing for the end user. If it can't return the customer to the suggested item without maintaining the cart, is there a way to disable this feature?

this sounds like something you simply need to modify on your template(s). the target for links should be _self.
