featured products

How do I get rid of some of the featured products on the home page? I'm still using the sample items that come default with the shop. I've gone into the individual items and 'home special' is not ticked off on any of them. I thought this was what was used to control the featured items.

Also, how do you get rid of the add to cart buttons under the featured items?

I'm also trying to have the sign up for newsletter not show up. I've unchecked it in a couple of places, but it's still there.

I think it's in STORE>SETTINGS>GENERAL
You can choose the number and number of columns for featured items.
