New Blog Feature NOT SEARCHABLE?!

Is anyone else seeing this?

I put some test articles in then from a customer point of view, tried the site global search (front end search) to find my way back into the blog - no dice.

If this really is the case, guys, you need to get this fixed ASAP.

When someone searches on a website they actually expect to find everything on that site related to the search term. And I want them to find it.

We planned to use the blog feature as a product info resource but if nobody can find it through search, it's pointless.

If I have a blog entry "How to Fix a Widget" and someone searches for Widgets, that article needs to be one of the items returned.

Blog is not currently searchable, we'll consider adding that to future releases, along with all the goodies from other blogging platforms. If you are at the stage that have hundreds or thousands of blog posts, you would probably better off using WordPress or something like that until this tool becomes more robust.
