Comments on Checkout Page

We're using the single page checkout - is there a way to remove the comment box? Is there an option for that somewhere, or would I need to edit the checkout template, and if so what html would I need to remove exactly? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I don't know of any setting that you can use to toggle the comment section on and off but if you want it gone you can edit your checkout-singlepage.html page.

It looks like removing lines 1529 - 1541 will remove the comment box and the Comment header.

Thanks! That seemed to do the trick, but there is now a weird question mark character in the header of the payment method field..I'll try to flush the cache and see if it goes away.

We had that weird character before on our payment methods area.
Turns out there were "spaces" in the code for that area of the page. We had to delete them and that seemed to fix it.

Looks like my template for checkout-singlepage.html is different (or I already modified it elsewhere). Can someone paste the lines to be removed into this thread so I know what I'm looking for?
