Support suggested I upgrade my SSL but I have the one that says it's good for mobile sites.

Hopefully it will be fixed. We do get a lot of mobile traffic - especially during Q4. It would be nice to not scare the paying customers off!

Hopefully this will be addressed in the version 4 update...

Just checked out our mobile interface.

Potential buyers on an Android (like I have) must click through TWO SSL warnings in order to access the site.

I opened a case - but searching the forum found out this issue was reported a while ago.

BTW - buyers get the same two warnings when we're not using the mobile interface, so disabling it doesn't help.

I looked into this and there is a work around outlined by geotrust. I use a quckssl purchased from 3dcart. I've sent tech support a few potential solutions that I found when searching the internet and they've tried them and asked me to test them afterwards. No luck so far. I'm surprised that 3dcart wasn't able to get geotrust to walk them through implementation.

I have a Network Solutions EV SSL and it worked fine on my android prior to moving to 3dcart. I was hosting with Netsol, so maybe they can do something differently than 3dcart. I don't know.

I just paid close to $800 in fee's to 3D to move my site here not to mention 4 weeks getting the site ready. Now I want to move it back or to somewhere else. I never received any messages with the same certificates on my other cart. This is not acceptable. I turned M-Commerce off and still get the error message.

This doesn't necessarily mean there is something wrong with your cert. You should check the page for any https code. Find the https code and figure out which one is giving you the problem. I guessing this is just a minor code issue and not a ssl issue.

    I hope this helps!

Yes hopefully they can get this addressed soon. Personally i'm not too worried because most of my customers come from desktops and not mobile phones, but still it would be nice to not have that pop up stating the cert is not from a trusted source. However if a customer used google checkout, paypal or checkout by amazon, they really don't have to worry about the ssl pop up, but i'm guessing 99% of the people out there don't put that much thought into it. Ahh well, heres to hoping they can get this resolved in a timely manner.

No the mobile site is not a sub-domain. I wish it was, and you are right you would need a ssl cert that included sub-domains.

At present the mobile site does not use any custom file names that you may of put in place for your main site and there is no site map.

I am just skeptical of this because this cert did work ok in October. 3d cart has been great in trying to get to the root of the problem but the cert company has just not been helpful in offering any meaningful information to what could be causing the problem.
I have not used mobile on my site because it is not finished yet but how does the site look on mobile? Does it change the domain? Like M.Domain.com? If so the SSL might only be registered as Domain.com and not M.Domain.com so it would flag a security warning.

I just got an EV SSL from GoDaddy & am waiting for approval. I'm very curious now about how well it will work. I'll let you know if I encounter any issues.

We have seen the same problem with our geotrust ssl on the mobile website and the standard android web browser.

Yes, we have that problem with one of our stores that has its own geotrust ssl cert, the other 2 that use 3dcart's shared cert do not have the problem. I thought it was an android problem only. I have been asking 3dcart to work on a fix. The next android update may fix it as google knows of the issue.
