Paid orders are marked unpaid

I was testing my cart today and the orders are showing "unpaid" even though the CC was accepted and processed. Is there something, perhaps a setting somewhere I am missing???

Who are you using for a payment processor/gateway?

I am using authorize.net. Charges went through, all the transaction details are in the orders. But orders are listed under unpaid.

check to see if the default order status is New or Unpaid.
