Oddities in IE8 - menu issues

We're in development and I've been primarily working in FF, and have just now looked at IE8 and there's a lot of strange stuff going on there.

One of my hidden menu items is even showing up. Should I be worried? Any thoughts?

I know that I've had some issues with 'https' in IE before but this seems odd. Thanks to anyone who has some ideas.

In your store setting, clear your cache and this will remove the category. :)
