Feed for Googlebase rejections

Google keeps rejecting my feeds exported by 3DCart. For example, it always sees them as comma delimited, even though I specify Tab. Then, it has problems with attributes, which I tweak to no avail.

Is there anybody with working exports that knows the short way to get this working, I only have 46 products and they all have proper prices, etc. despite Google bitching that they don't..

Support tickets aren't working for me, they say contact Google. No reply from them, of course..

O.K. A couple of things for you.

1. I would really highly recommend downloading Notepad++ if you have not done so already. Free, Open Source. This will definitely come in handy not only for Google but is a necessity for Bing.

2. Relative to the Tab vs. Comma. I don't think 3D produces a comma delimited file. Check your settings under CUSTOMIZE in 3d's Google feed setup. Usually the issue is Quoted Fields. Google will accept this in addition to the Tab Delimited BUT you must tell Google to do so. Over on the Google side, after your have created the "feed name" it will take you back to the Data Feeds screen. There is an EDIT link next to your feed name. Click this and you will see radio buttons for using or not using quoted fields. You will also see multiple drop-down boxes related to your file. Check these as well.

Hopefully you have looked at you file in Notepad ++. Did I mention how important this is?

3. Now, for attributes. I include product_type. HOWEVER, and this is a hugh however, 3D does NOT put the underscore between product and type. Google wants this as all one but 3D gives your product AND type as if they are two seperate attributes. So use NOTEPAD++ to put in the underscore and connect these two.

4. As for price I don't know if everyone does this but I use NOTEPAD++ to search and replace my prices as follows: I replace 10.99 with 10.99 USD in the file. I do this for each price that is in the file.

5. I have no problems with Google Merchant Center and it always takes our feed. We get quite a lot of traffic from them.

Now I'm going to see if I can copy a paste a bit of our feed file here for you to look at. Again, remember to check your 3D Google Customize settings. I'll try to copy and paste that here as well - so here goes.....

1st the Customize settings: Well 3D has a very severe limit on the file size I can upload from the print screen so if you have any questions on this just reply to this and I'll check later.

We've had issues with Google rejecting products out of our feed that have quotation marks in the description fields. So replace all quotes with a double *single quote* mark.
