Order cancellation capability?

Hi,

I cannot seem to find any information on how to allow customers to cancel orders before shipment. Is there a way to turn this on, or do I have to come up with a workaround?

Its very easy for YOU to cancel and order, which i'm sure your aware of... the only thing I can think of that maybe could allow your customers to do it is using the RMA...

You could change the language in the templates to say "cancel order" or "change order"... this has the benefit of allowing them to maybe only cancel one item out of the order.

Not really the answer I was looking for, though :-)

I have resorted to providing instructions to contact our customer service reps or send a message with the online form. Not ideal, but it will do.

I did think of using the RMA, but didn't want to confuse things.
