MailChimp

I am trying to help a friend out with his site. He wants to use mailchimp to send out emails when he posts a new blog post but when ever I try to put in the address to the rss feed it tells me that it is not a correct address. The feed address is feed://www.swinkey.com/rss.asp?type=blog

Does anyone have any experience doing this with mailchimp?
