Escalating Shipping Cost per $100 (Custom Shipping Method)

Is there a way to set up a base shipping amount, and have say .50 added to it for every $100 of merchandise?

ie:
$10 for up to $100
$10.50 for 101-200
$11 for 201-300 and so on and so forth.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks for the link. I was hoping for a way to put in a formula so I wouldn't have to put in 100 value ranges to go up to a $10,000 order.

Also, would have to repeat it for other methods that would start with a different base price. ie: ground would start at $10, while 3rd day might start at $20.

Does anyone know if you can import custom shipping methods into 3dcart from a CSV? That would at least save some time if I had to enter all the ranges in manually.
