Checkout process broken for 4 hours now

Anyone else aware of checkout problems? Our customers have been unable to purchase anything for about 4 hours now. All I get from support is "the admins are working on it." And that took me going to live chat to get an update. Still no update to the support ticket. That's hard to explain to the many irate customers that are complaining to us. Who knows how many thousands of dollars we've lost, not to mention customer that won't ever come back.
