Discount not working with Daily Deal

I am running a promotion for the month of April. I also have Daily Deal turned on and running.

Just noticed if someone places an order WITH the daily deal item in the cart, the cart does not give the automatic discount.

Non-Stackable is NOT checked on the promotion page. I want users to get the discount even if the daily deal is in the cart.

Any ideas????

Are you sure your DailyDeal is NOT Non-Stackable? Because by default it is.
Check in your Promotions Manager, for the DailyDeal entry...

Bingo... I didnt even know the daily deal was in the promotion section. I was looking in the Store Modules and Settings section...

Duh.
