Sub-Categories only appear on the 1st page of any given category.
This has been discussed in some other posts that I found however as far as I could see the issue has not been resolved. I was wondering if anyone has come up with a work around.
Here is an example.
On Gas Grills - Built In: BBQ Island there are 19 sub-categories listed. However if you go to page two or any other page in this category the sub-categories no longer appear. 16 pages of products with no way to narrow them down is not a very user friendly. I think this is costing us sales and would like to fix the problem.
What I don't understand is how the code that displays sub-categories does not execute on the rest of the pages. It almost seems like it has been intentionally hobbled?
Looking forward to input you guys have.
Thanks.
