Automatic Order Shipping Import via API?

Hey guys,

I am just starting up my new shopping cart(love it so far) and i was wondering if there was a way to automate importing a batch CSV file to update the shipping tracking numbers daily? right now i have to manually grab the CSV file from an FTP and upload it to the cart each day.

I was told there may be a way to do this through the API and i downloaded the API docs and the example, but am a bit lost on where to get started and was wondering if anyone had any C# examples or any examples in general.

We are too new to spend the money on something like Stone Edge, so any tips or solutions would be great! Thanks

The API will let you do this but I don't have any good examples. I would google around for making SOAP API calls using a programming language you are comfortable with. Once you know how to do that, it is pretty easy to understand how to apply that to the 3DCart API.
