  • Insurance glitch

    We currently have insurance for first class mail as an optional charge. We sell lots of low cost items and not everyone wants to pay for insuring them. We've run into an issue when the customer opts to pay the insurance, then for whatever reason they leave the page or they do not complete the checkout. If they come back later and try to checkout with the insurance marked they get an error that tells them 3dcart will send me an e-mail notifying me of the problem and they get redirected to the homepage via a link. They cannot reach step 3 of the checkout. The message starts out with:

    "Our Apologies!
    There's a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed right now. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please try again in a few moments."

    I've never gotten an e-mail and this has happened twice in 3 days that I know of. I recreated the problem and was only able to checkout without insurance. I've temp turned off the optional insurance but was hoping someone had an idea of what this might be before I send in a support ticket.

    I forgot to add that we were just switched over to 6.0 a few days ago.....

    I would suggest calling Tech support and opening a ticket.
