Integrate packing slip with distributor email?

I'm trying to figure out if there's a hack for combining the distributor email with a packing slip in the same document for the distributor.

The only thing I've figured out so far is to

1.Go into an order, select "Distributor email"
2. Copy the whole thing and paste into Word
3. Print as PDF
4. Open the packing slip and print as PDF
5. Open Adobe Acrobat and merge the two documents
6. Email to distributor.

It's a lot of work. Is there a better way??

Verde, did you ever come up with a workaround for this problem? I am in the same situation. I need to generate a Packing Slip at the same time as the Order Notification Email.
