On several of our stores I have implemented a crude workaround for store credits using the rewards system and gift certificates.
On all of our newer stores I was able to do this with a custom page and redeeming a product with rewards.
On my oldest and most customized store I had to add the redeem code to product listings. On this store redeem for x points adds the certificate to the cart for 0 dollars instead of the amount entered. It seems that a script is outdated or something and I cant for the life of me figure out why this is happening when it works fine on the other stores.
