Ok here is my dilemma. Someone wants me to build an order for them and send them a link via email so they could pay by credit card. Is this possible to do? Or is the only way for them to go on the site and then I refund them the difference for shipping charges?

It's a bit of a pain but I do this by creating the order with their customer information. I also create, and apply, a promotion that modifies the price accordingly. I then send them the link from the Not Completed list by opening the order and copying the [Open Order] link.
Not pretty but it works.
