Problems with Quick Search in Admin

I noticed today that Quick Search in our Admin panel seems to have stopped searching the "product keywords" field in our product listings. We've added a lot of special keywords to that field which we use quite often on the back-end to help us quickly find particular products.

The keywords do still work in
-the Quick Search box on our website
-to filter the product list in the admin
-to create keyword based Smart Categories

...just not in the Admin Quick Search.

Anybody else having this issue?

Apparently, EVERYBODY is having this issue -- you just haven't discovered it yet.

I filed a support case and this was their response:

I'm sorry to inform you that this function was disable for the online store manager.
As a work around you can use the product filter button to do this on the product list page.
I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
