Multiple logins with same email? OR......

Hey!

I have several different customer groups and some customers are part of more than one group, but not all of them are. I need to know if there's a way to:

1) have an email used as a login multiple times (only with different passwords for each customer group);

OR

2) have the login be anything but the email address and allow the same email address to be used more than once.

This is proving to be a huge issue for me. Need help!

I can not think of a way to work around this unfortunately. The answer to both your questions is no... the login name for an account has to be an email address, so therefore you can not have duplicate email addresses in the database.
