6.7 to 6.7.1: Watch your product options!

Our store pretty much was dead in the water for a few days with the v6.7.1 upgrade because of how we titled our product options. Most of our products have size options in inches, the options would be listed as 30", 32", 34", etc. With v6.7.1, you cant have any punctuation such as the double-quote used to denote inches; if you do, items cannot be added to the cart, you get an option error message. I had to replace every " with the word "inches", and now everything works again. 3dCart support was quick to identify the problem on a weekend, much appreciated.

Also, you can't use symbols like ™ in your option titles, we ran into this a while back (some of our options are brand names)

Not sure, I just deleted the ™™ symbol entirely, no big deal. 3dCart support said this: "Using the double quote, single quote or apostrophe in your options names and descriptions can cause these types of issues as the ASP and Javascript coding that provides the store's functionality may recognize these characters as text delimiters. As such they may interfere with the designed functions. We recommend replacing the double quote with an abbreviation of the word inches, such as "in.""

UPDATE: Support has now fixed the bug, you can use a double quote again to denote inches.
