Additional Tracking Numbers

Is there a way to add additonal tracking numbers to an order? We sometimes have orders that are partially shipped from here and from a vendor and would like to provide the customer with both tracking numbers.

I know I've been all through the knowledge base to see if it's possible because I'll ship a wiper motor now and a switch when it's finished, thus two tracking numbers. I usually put it in the notes field and then email the customer, but having the option to use more than one tracking number would sure be handy and a time saver

By the quantity of the items there is an "S" for split shipments. It will allow you to assign a tracking number to each.

I don't know about CSV, as we don't use CSV import for our tracking numbers. Maybe someone else will chime in.

You can't split order items and add additional tracking numbers by CSV, maybe API? but that would need some serious studying up.
