Facebook Pixels - Not much here?

I need to get my Website conversion tracking ( value ) installed on my site. Was working great on my old commerce platform, but someone else installed it for me as I could not figure it out.
I am surprised to not see anything in the forums here about facebook pixels and not much on the knowledge base.

My question is, where am I putting this code? On the checkout 4 page? I just need to track the ROI / Conversion value, so this tells me it needs to be on the order confirmation page.

Jason -- yes, that is where you want to put the FB conversion pixel -- in the footer for the page.

I don't think it matters -- using the footer section of the checkout4 page is just an easier way to inserting that data (all ROI scripts) rather than -- as I might easily do -- messing up the HTML file directly :-)

IslandJay , if you notice it says Value=0.00 maybe that has something to do with it.

You need to make the value dynamic. Use one of the following (we always used [subtotal] but it is not documented )

[total] - total without currency symbol
[ordersubtotal] - subtotal without currency symbol
[total_noformat] - total without currency symbol. Also no commas for totals over $999 (i.e. 1,000; removes the comma)

Ok, so I need to tell the pixel to only look for purchased made in a certain price range? My average ticket is $30 but I could get orders in the hundreds. So make the Value=1000 and it will record all sales under $1000?

These tags will insert the Actual order total into the conversion code. 'Value' = '[total_noformat]' will record the actual order value.

IslandJay I don't use Facebook conversion so I can't comment about the code as a whole. They dynamic value portion looks correct.

Actually I am getting conversion values now!

Any idea what would be cause my conversion # in Facebook to show double?
Example, it shows 22 conversion in Oct on one ad but in fact it was 11.
