Shipping Signature Required And/Or Insured Option

Does anyone know if 3dcart has the ability to offer shipping signature required and/or insured shipping? I don't want either to be required, but to be available at the customer's option (and expense).

Shipping Insurance and Handling are available in your shipping settings. Handling could be re-purposed for Sig required.

Would love the option to allow the customer to request a signature for a fee, the coding would be basically the same as the insurance option.

It looks like the shipping insurance setting will work, as long as the user can opt in or out, and the insurance option would be passed to the FedEx API so they can insure the shipment

However, using handling as signature requested is an all or nothing. The user would have no option to accept or decline it, and the information would not be passed to FedEx. I don't think that would work at all.

Insurance comes up as a selectable option in the checkout. Yeah, you are right about the handling, which in its form would not work for signature required.
