Walmart.com just invited and approved me to join their website as a 3rd party seller. Anyone on this forum with experience it? Seeing how Amazon dramatically increased my order counts, I suppose marketplaces are now necessary. Also, 3dcart, any plans to sync with Walmart, Jet, etc, etc?

robschlein Thanks for your question. Currently there are no plans to integrate with those stores, however this is a great look towards the future of 3dcart. I will bring this up with the directors to see what feed back I can get. I was just accepted by Walmart as well -- going to get set up this week - wondering what others are doing as far as integration of orders/inventory, etc. There is a new third-party app: http://apps.3dcart.com/Walmart-Marketplace-Integration -- has anyone looked at that? If 3dCart has it on the radar to integrate directly soon, I would rather wait for that. First I need to see if sales on Walmart are gong to happen.

I'm disappointed in WalMart. They used to produce a few sales (not many) of a certain jean that I carried, but in their algorithm's infinite knowledge, it unpublished them all because of price competitiveness. I sell a lot of the same jean on Amazon at the same price. They are the JV league for sure.

Thanks robschlein -- by the way, I just found out this morning that the Amazon module is broken as far as inventory is concerned -- not updating inventory when you ship an order - if you are using it, and you've been moved to 7.6, you might check it.

I have a backend system update inventory and upload fresh quantities to both 3dcart and Amazon every other day. I don't oversell much. How hard can it be though to deduct inventory upon sync vs shipping?

robschlein -- what are you using to keep inventory synched? I have trouble because I can oversell on some low-inventory items that I sell on Amazon.

I use an old system called Apparel Store that keeps up with about 40,000 SKUS and custom software that exports changes from sales with 3dcart, Amazon, or in-store purchase. I'm sure QuickBooks has something.
