2. You can use 

The actual section string you will want to remove should be: Discount: [totaldiscounts] 

So this is what should be as removed(hidden)

Did you clear your store cache? and have a new email sent. Also you are showing the old email version. Make sure that you are not using the newer email version.  completely removes the code in between so since that is the only area in this email as shown it has not been cleared from cache on the front end. Can you send a test email to [email protected] and I will verify for you

The Enable Adv Page Cache was not checked, but I just cleared it anyway.

Will test it again soon.

Well the next order work properly, and the pictures were bigger than the one that did not remove "discount".

I'll start looking for a pattern.

I simply removed any coding by deleting it completely versus adding more code to hide it - absolutely no issue removing it from all emails

3DCuser There is only one place it can be in each order email. And you can remove it completely without issue. Can you send me a test email and I can verify for you. Because as it is shown above that will not show the discount as I have tested the exact coding above and it removes the discount. Can you verify that you modified the correct email

3DCuser Another thought. I had a client that did this and it is a possibility especially if you said the images changed size I am guessing this is what you might be doing.

When you update your email template you need to hit "SAVE" in the top right. Make sure that you are not clicking "Apply New Version" as that sets the template to the most recent version and will just keep reverting changes back to the stock 3dcart email template thus removing any changes you may make.

So if you clicked "Apply New Version" as if it were save, you will need to reapply the change to that template and click "Save" in the top right

It's easy to tweak all the emails that you use - most likely only a few of them. Look for the new order email sent to your customers and you can simply copy and past the coding into any html viewer - we use this one http://htmledit.squarefree.com/ then you can use control "F" on your computer and type in discount or whatever word you are trying to find to tweak or remove the coding. Once you remove the coding you wish from the html viewer once you see it is what you want and then copy and paste the revised coding back into the email that you were tweaking at 3dcart and click save. Only takes a few minutes to change a number of emails.

We also change around the layout of the email as I recall the address area being all messed up - like the name was listed, then the email address, then the address or some crazy order - we rearranged all the emails that we either get emailed with new orders that would speed up our process with quickbooks or emails sent to the customer. Sometimes when I look at the layout that 3dcart has for order notifications and the address area layout I wonder who in the heck designed these things!
