store logo issue

I switched over to a respnsive theme a while back
www.theplantguy.org

I'm wondering what has to be edited to make my store logo take up more space at the top? regardless of the image size it always shows up like that..

The PlantGuy Your logo is restricted by the #logo css rule in your template. You need to go to your default_modified.css file and search for "#logo" Find the desktop rule below:

#logo {
float: left;
height: 111px;
width: 50%; <!--this is what is restricting your logo from going any larger on desktop. change to something up to 64% in this current theme
}

If you want to scoot it down from the top a bit without adding a new rule find this rule (should be right under the first one)

#logo img {
margin-top: 1%;<!--change to maybe 3% and that will center it vertically a bit more on desktop view
max-height: 100px;
max-width: 100%;
}

After changing. Save, Clear cache, and refresh

Banner style logos are not ideal for html5 responsive but this will get you the max size for your logo in the aligned available area

The PlantGuy You need to clear your browser cache and refresh. Your browser is not recognizing the newest css
