Link to CRM Specific Department

Does anyone know if it is possible to link to the CRM contact page with a specific department selected? It would really help me out.

I don't have CRM running and I don't want to turn it on just to troubleshoot. Would you PM me with a link to your CRM so I can check it out?

Hmm, I don't know. The template has this:

<select name="departmentid" id="departmentid" tabindex="1" class="txtBoxStyle">
                    [deptdropdown]
                </select>

Typically between the <select> tags you would have something like:

<option value="1">General</option>
<option value="2">Sales</option>
<option value="3">Tech Support</option>

...and you would simply reorder them. But you can't do that here because the options and their order are being inserted by the software in place of [deptdropdown]. I believe it would require some javascript to automatically change the option order after the page loads.

That's what I was thinking. More work than I want to do at the moment.
