Free Shipping Limited to Specific items

Hello,

I am trying to offer Free Shipping for samples, but not for anything else. Can I make the coupon code invalid if there are specific items in the cart? Or valid if *only* certain products are in the cart? I had a customer add samples to a regular order and apply the coupon and got free shipping on the whole order. I am trying to figure out how to avoid that. It seems like there is a way to do it, I just am not seeing how. Thanks for any help!

Do you have your samples listed as a product? If so you can check off free ship on that item.

I do have samples as items. What I found when I offered those for free with free shipping without a code, is that people would order multiples of every single sample we had. Almost no one needs that many for any reasonable purpose. I like the coupon code option because I can limit it to 3 total.
