Abandoned Cart Emails Not Sending

While reviewing the performance of this module, I noticed that we normally send 150+ abandoned cart emails per week, recovering 34% of our carts. Last week we sent just 29 emails recovering 0%. Upon further review I found that the emails that were sent last week were for orders that were already 6 days old, despite the module being set to send an email 1 hour after abandonment.

6/14 marks a drop in email sends except for the spike of old orders on the 21st.

Wondering if this issue was resolved as I plan to use this module soon.

Yes it is, it was an issue isolated to our store. It was caused by an invalid character in an email address associated with an abandoned cart. Tech Support found the character and removed it, which made the system start working as usual. I have asked that the Devs add a piece of code to prevent those offending character from being added to an email address.

It would appear that this has returned. We have been a customer for 9.5 years and have never had an issue with invalid characters showing up in our checkout page, so I am guessing the validation code for these form entry fields has been omitted in a recent rollout.
