Problem With Paypal Not Receiving All Transaction Details Via API

We use Paypal for our 3dcart merchant services.

I just noticed that transactions paid for by my customer with a credit card which show up in Paypal under the heading: Website Payments Pro API Solution are not having the 3dcart invoice, shipping income or sales tax info passed to them.

So in Paypal, you only see the total transaction amount minus the Paypal fee.

On transactions paid for by the customer using their Paypal account, which show up in Paypal under the heading: Web Accept Payment Received all of that important data IS being passed and is visible in the transaction details in Paypal.

Is anyone else using Paypal for merchant services experiencing this problem? If you have and it's been fixed, what did you do to fix it?

We use PP pro on two sites. We get a full breakdown on the other but only the total and PP fee as you described here. We have to refer to the store invoice for sales tax etc.

Which would be fine for a handful of transactions now and then, right? If you have any volume, there's no way to keep up with this.

We use bookkeeping software that integrates with Paypal but now we're seeing that our "shipping income" and "sales tax collected" numbers are way off because sometimes the data is there (regular Paypal payments) and sometimes it's not there (3dcart sends data via API).

Ugh.

Any chance you can post a screen cap (details redacted) showing a PP Pro API payment coming through on your other site with the shipping and tax broken out?

Support just responded to a ticket and are basically blaming it on Paypal as if their API won't support it.
