anyone have a good experience with a company to provide a check processing?

paypal could be considered one, but i said "good experience"....

any way to reduce processing / transaction fees and i'm ALL EARS.

Authorizenet offers an echeck processing service. We do not use it so, unfortunately, I can not share on any personal experiences.

whats interesting is that bank of america merchant services uses auth.net / cybersource but when i asked about e-check, the service is through a different gateway

Does anyone know how e-check processing via Authorize.net would be set up with 3d cart?

They had said it's not possible, but would the offline payment method not work?

We use Fattmerchant, which will allow Authorize.net eChecks. However, it costs like $49 a month + $0.25 per transaction. We get this service free using Quickbooks Online, but the Quickbooks Merchant payment option only allows credit cards through 3dCart, so this isn't very helpful to you or us. Today, the customer has to call and give us the checking info to do it through Quickbooks online. Works great, but does require a phone call for payment.
