Do Sub-Categories affect SEO ?

Just curious if having too deep a category tree affect SEO?
In other words, do product listing get indexed "better" in they are only one level deep, as opposed to being several sub categories and being too many categories to crawl.

I think it all depends on how easy the page can be found. If you have a lot of inbound links (onsite & offsite) that can reach that page then that is all that matters.

If you submit the sitemap that 3dcart generates automatically for you to Google Webmaster Tools I don't believe this to be an issue. Basically you will tell the search engines where to look for content. The webmaster tools also tells you how many pages are indexed by google vs what's in your sitemap and how often they visit. It also gives you a bunch of other great information.
