Will I loose back links if...

Hello:

here is the situation: I have just written my first press release and published it with about 5 different sites. I am thinking I probably should have a "media" or News" link on my site, shouldn't I? And if so, where should it be? In the blog section?

Since I link back to some of my store items and the homepage, will I loose those back links if I post the press release anywhere on my site?

Does anybody have an answer?

How about publishing your press release on your main site (I assume it is your 3D Cart site) and link to it from other 5 different sites where you have a copy of the press release. You can create a new page "News" or put it in your About US page. This way you will still have the links to home/category/product pages from the other sites.
