I am on and old legacy plan. I have bandwidth and space limits. I have not exceeded these. Sometimes I do on the bandwidth but its only a bit extra a month if I go over. Is there a reason to switch to the unlimited and pay more? Am a limited in features?

The other bothersome issue with moving to the new plans is that you can't make more than $400k a year without incurring extra charges where on the legacy there was no ridiculously low level of gross income.Joe Arbogast

Yes, I feel 3dcart is going the wrong way with the new plan caps on how much you can sell. I asked what happens if you go over 400k but do not want to move to an enterprise plan for $300 more a month and was told they charge you $50 a month per 100k over or something. They basically force you to upgrade even if you do not need to.
If I was going to spend 500 a month I would not be doing it with 3dcart. It seems everything incorporates with shopify ,big commerce or woocomerce but very little works with 3dcart. For $500-1000 a month you would still have a very limited store just with a "dedicated server".

FYI we are making some changes to the plans based on feedback, upping the caps on Plus & Pro plans, this is still in progress, we'll announce the changes on the blog once ready!
In general any new functionality will be only included on the new plans, updates to existing features you already have will go to all plans, ie. we are working on updates to Autoresponder, Newsletters, Blog, product reviews, which will be on all plans, but new things like Hosted Payment page, Scheduled Promotions/Sales, Delivery Estimates, will come only to new plans.----------------------------

Marty sorry missed your question,
We moved from dedicated hardware to cloud/virtual machines a few years ago, the resources to each store are allocated based on plans, we can dial up / down ram/cpu without needing to change ip address or have any downtime to change resources. In the highest levels of Enterprise we have the ability to have multiple virtual machines at different data-centers, but even in that case, there is no dedicated machine.----------------------------

Can they force us to change to the new plans, even if the old one was better for us? They changed my current plan without notifying me and charged my credit card. I was not notified, aware and certainly did not approve this. A notice would have been appreciated. At this point, it borders on credit card fraud. When I contacted billing, they said they would remove the charges if I upgrade to the new plan. The new plan restricts the number of users which presents operational issues for me - even though it may be less expensive. All this and I was told the legacy plans would be grandfathered in with no changes on several occasions over the years. Funny thing is, they only did this to 4 stores, one is still like it was with no changes. When I pointed that out, I was told it would be updated also. Geeezzz people, a heads up and time to make other arrangements/discuss would have been appreciated. Not to mention many broken agreements/understandings.

I agree, talk to me, give me some options - tell me how the new plan is better for me - BEFORE YOU CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD. I emailed my account manger and Jimmy and posted here and still have no response. Billing responded - that is what set off the warning signs, it took 7 emails and over an hour of my time to get her to stop giving me the caned response and agree that my plan had been changed. Then she told me that the only remaining store that had not been changed would be. I don't know, I have never had issues like this before with 3dcart. The funny thing is, the new plans are actually less expensive for me. My only question is the user limit. Now, I am so aggravated I am looking at other platforms.
