Has anyone figured out if it is possible to add the items "Availability-Backorder" message/status to the shopping cart, the checkout pages, and the invoice?

I just submitted this same issue on the feature request page:
"Show availability message for each specific product during checkout process"

I just asked for it on the checkout page, but you could also write in invoices
