Hiding left column on home page

I can't figure out how to hide left (and right) column on hope page only.
As I understand this layout is defined in frame.html with MIDDLE section defined in home.html.
I want to have only site-wide banner on the home page and to have left column with categories menu everywhere else.
How can it be done?

Settings>Design>Titles & Content | Home Page | Edit | Hide Left Bar | Save Changes
