manufacturer on home.html?

Is it true that, despite the fact that 3dcart shows images of templates (v40012, v40006, etc.) that include the manufacturer's name in the product display (e.g., "by Schwinn"), [manufacturer_name] and [extra_field_X] won't display on home.html?

if these variables will not display there, has someone found another way of dynamically displaying the manufacturer's name in the listing?

Does your Manufacture ID have an unique identifier for each manufacture?

If so, [mfgid] is available in the home template. You could use javascript to do a simple replacement.
