I'm getting more response you, my fellow forum members, than my co-workers (and bosses). I'm looking for feedback on our site so I can move forward. Any constructive criticism would be helpful.

I noticed that you have several products with no images, so I would start there. Your return policy needs more information. The category fonts are quite large. Perhaps make them smaller and it will bring up the connect with us information in plain site. Your check out does not work yet, as you may already know. Just some thoughts.

Hi AmagArtwork, I like the way your social media buttons pop out on the side of the product pages. Could you share how you added that feature?

Thank you for mentioning the return policy. I totally forgot to bring the terms from our current site over. That could have caused many problems.

I did shrink the category a bit, but it still doesn't bring the connect up info up much. I may have to move that to another place.

J'aime Paris it's the social bookmarking under Marketing. It's just the way it was set up.

It looks nice, I would just slow the Carousel a bit. I had a hard time reading it, as it changed too quickly.
Not being able to read the Crousel, and seeing the skull (does not exactly say plant food), it also took me a while to figure out what exactly you were selling. The tag line "Plant Products" below the logo is too small.
You have open space to the right of the logo, maybe put the tag line there in a bigger font.

Hi AmagArtwork,

In Marketing > Social Bookmarking, Enabled is checked, and there is some AddThis Smart Layers code there. Nothing displayed on my page. I reset it to default and still nothing showed. I took MySpace and Twitter out, since I don't do either of them. Is this perhaps template related?

In Marketing > SEO Tools > Social Links I put in my Facebook and Google+ links and clicked Save, and 2 icons showed just above the bottom banner. They work, but look awfully lonely all by themselves down there. Do you know how I can move them under the category navigation menu where yours are?

cwnoah I had to edit the frame file to put the social links into the left panel.

It's possible that the AddThis Smart Layers is part of the template. The Social Bookmarking shows up only on the product detail pages as it's so the end user can share the product. I would keep the Twitter at least so that they can share your products with their followers should they choose.

cwnoah We're actually looking into an AddThis social bookmarking issue now, with the same symptoms you're explaining. If you have an outstanding ticket I can tag it to be updated when the fix is found and applied.

AmagArtwork, I think I messed something up. I plugged in the code and it took 25 seconds to load the category menu after displaying the Categories heading and the social icons group. I took the code back out, cleared history and caches, and it still takes 25 seconds to load. Any idea what I might have done to it?

I also had to put <i class="icon-facebook"></i> after the title to get any icons to show at all. They were rather small and flush to the right, too.

cwnoah I'm not sure what happened to make it take so long to load the categories. I would revert the code to when it worked better. As far as the size ... it looks like you have the <a> tag at a 13pt font. It's picking it's size up from that. the css for ".social-icons a" has a float right on it. Fiddling around with the chrome developer tools I got it to look like this. birdshop.jpg
